___________________________________________________________

David Noonan was a devoted father, loving husband, cherished son, and loyal friend whose life touched the hearts of so many.  Born with a spirit of kindness and dedication, David’s legacy is one of unwavering love and support for his 3 beautiful children, Luke (16), Will (14) and Libby (7), his beautiful princess.

David’s love for his family was boundless.   In 2006, he married the love of his life, Sara.  While David had many accomplishments in life including his career as a Nebraska Cornhusker, building the UNO strength and conditioning program and designing their state-of-the-art gym and even getting his commercial pilots license, his biggest accomplishment was his children.   He poured his heart and soul into his children’s lives, supporting them in all they did.   Whether it was coaching their football team, training them, cheering from the sidelines, or offering fatherly advice, David was always present and supportive. His children were his world, and his love for them was unconditional.

David was a pillar of strength, and together with his wife Sara, they built a life full of countless memories, many of which were created on Disney cruises and at Disney World, which was their happy place.

David’s love and support extended beyond his immediate family.  He impacted hundreds of lives as the strength and conditioning coach for the UNO athletics department and Omaha Lancers for almost 20 years.  His dedication to so many kids and the impact he had on their lives will never be forgotten.

David’s career as a medical robotic specialist was another testament to his dedication and hard work. In this role, he brought cutting-edge technology to the forefront of patient care. His contributions to this field were invaluable, and his expertise and compassion made a difference in the lives of many

David lives on in the hearts of all those who knew him. His love, strength, and commitment to others will never be forgotten. He leaves behind a profound impact that will continue to inspire and guide us. Though he is no longer with us, David’s memory will forever be etched in our hearts, and he will always be loved.

Forever in our hearts.

So saddened by the news of David’s passing. I had the privilege to be the athletic trainer at Northeast and enjoyed getting to know him. Even then I learned a lot from him about nutrition, conditioning, and lifting.

Dave was a great teammate. I had the privilege of being his teammate during jr. High (Firefighters), high school (Lincoln Northeast), and college (UNL). In our working life we would cross paths in the operating room. The bond of teammates is strong and one I will miss. Praying for the family to feel Gods grace during this difficult time. I look forward to seeing where life takes his kids. Hearing all the comments of Dave’s immense love for them, a good dad he was. Rest in peace friend.
