My prayers and thoughts are with your family. I have many fond memories of working with Dr. Wampler. He is someone that has left way too young. So very sorry to hear about this.

Vicki and family, Dean was an inspiration for me, he practiced the way all physicians strive for, caring and considerate, he preceded myself in medical school, always leading the way, and I assume he had to struggle with a chronic disease where he was probably sicker than most of the patients he was looking for. God bless his soul and you and your family, Scott Bergfeld, MD MPH, TTUHSC Professor

My deepest sympathies. Over the decades Dr. Wampler and I shared many patients. He was always kind, gentle, and wise.
