Debra Jo “Debbie” Milota
Age 59
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Debra Jo Milota. Debbie was born in Auburn, Nebraska on October 3, 1959 and tragically lost her life on August 9, 2019, at 59 years of age. Debbie spent her childhood with her brother and four sisters in Springfield, Nebraska, where you could find her climbing clothes chutes to sneak upstairs and dragging home opossums by the tail to surprise her parents, Wayne and Mary French. Debbie married the love of her life and high school sweetheart, John C. Milota III and loved him fiercely for 39 glorious years. She gained John and Julie Milota as parents, Debbie (departed) and Janet as sisters. She raised three beautiful children, who were her pride and joy. “Grandma Debbie” had eight delightful grandchildren that were always excited to see her. Debbie touched many lives along the way and was known for her willingness to give whatever anyone needed to whomever needed it. Debbie is survived by her loving husband, John C. Milota III; children: Crystal Stoll (Justin), John Milota IV (Ashley) and Valerie Miller (Ryan); her precious grandchildren: Simon, Jack, and Flora Beth; Charlotte and Johnny V; Alyssa, Adalyn, and Aubrey. She is also survived by her brother, Allen French, and sisters: Janet Pelzer, Becky Beck, Donna Bryan, and Jane Bailey—along with numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, and nephews.
The Family will receive friends on Wednesday, August 14th from 5pm to 8pm at the West Center Chapel. FUNERAL: Thursday, August 15th at 10am at Southwest Church of Christ, 2600 S. 124th St in Omaha Nebraska, 68144. In lieu of flowers, memorials will be collected for the Muscular Dystrophy Association in honor of nephew Holden Kratky.

John and Family, my heart goes out to you at this sad time. Mom and I loved Debbie, and the news of her passing has been devastating to me. I can’t begin to imagine what all of you are going through. Deb has been one of the sweetest, kindest, most thoughtful persons I have known, and, John, that goes for you, too. We couldn’t have asked for better neighbors, I am so thankful to have known dear Debbie and wish we could have had more time with her. My prayers and thoughts are with all of you. Love, Sue Costanzo
