Delores Barone Twedt, 85, of Omaha, NE passed away peacefully and entered Heaven’s gates on October 2, 2020.  She married her soulmate and loving husband in May of 1955 who preceded her in death in 2017.

Delores is the loving and devoted mother of and survived by her son, Rex Twedt Jr. (Anne); and daughters: Terri Pennington (Paul), Tamra Malousek (Mark), Teanne Spinharney (Craig), and Traci Kelly (Bob).  She is also survived by 11 grandchildren: Rex Twedt III, Max Twedt, Grace Manuel (Zach), Ruby Robarge (Collin), Brendan Pennington, Jerry Saab Jr. (Jessica), Jenna Sobotka (Jason), Robby Kelly, Sean Kelly, Trevor Kelly and Kaitlin Kelly; 4 great-grandchildren: Mia Sobotka, Jerry III Saab, Theodore Saab, and Stevie Saab and many beloved nieces and nephews.

Delores lived a busy life as an owner of a flower shop and helping her husband build a business from the ground up, but what she lived most in life was being a wonderful wife, mother, friend and homemaker.  No one ever left her home or summer cabin without a full stomach and treasured memories of her.

She loved and treasured her children and embraced every moment with them.  She especially loved her role as Grandma/Nana.  She will be remembered as a special friend to all those whose lives she touched.

The family wishes to extend their gratitude to Brookstone Village for their support in her final days.

Sending you sympathy, love and peace during this difficult time. I only met her a few times but she was an amazing woman.

Rex Jr. Terri, Tammy, Teanne and Traci:
So sorry for your loss! I have found comfort in the idea that death ends a life not the relationship. It is my prayer that your memories bring you solace in the coming days, months and years. God Bless you all!

Shelley and I are extremely saddened to hear of the passing of our dearest friend, Dee. To all of her children and grandchildren and great-grandchildren and family, our sincerest condolences. Dee was one of the most kind-hearted and sweetest human beings we ever had the pleasure of knowing. Always smiling, she never had a harsh word about anyone. May God rest her beautiful soul. We will never forget you……..Tom and Shelley.
