Kotila, DeLores April 8, 1926 – March 9, 2015 Papillion, NE Loving wife, devoted mother and beloved grandmother went to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Monday afternoon March 9. Her life stands as a testimony to the grace and faithfulness of God. In quiet humility and thankfulness she loved, prayed and served others, often sacrificially. Her life of faith reflected a beautiful simplicity that was born of a deep abiding trust in God who knew and directed the affairs of her life. She finished the race well and received life’s highest commendation “well done good and faithful servant, enter into the joy of My happiness.” We love you DeLores. Preceded in death by husband, Wayne E.; son, David W.; daughter-in-law, Darleyene; brother, Daniel Ottoson; niece, Vicki Kaskinen. Survived by children, Bruce Kotila (Barb), Judy Carlson (Jerry); grandchildren, Kim and Mike (Jen) Kotila, Matthew Siegel, Katherine and Nathan Kotila; sister, Pauline Kaskinen; and many nieces and nephews. FUNERAL SERVICE: 11am, Tuesday, March 17 at Thanksgiving Lutheran Church. Interment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
