Preceded in death by wife, Margaret C. Egr; parents, Tillie and Louis J. Egr; daughter, Marge Larma; grandson, Zach Armatis; brother, Don Egr.  Survived by children, Bernard Kanger (Mary Alice) and Denise Armatis (Greg); grandchildren: Bernie Kanger Jr. (Cindy), Ken Kanger (Sheri), Ryan Kanger, Jeff Kanger, Tim Kanger (Marisa), Nick Larma (Tammy), Joel Larma (Catie), Josh Armatis, Lisa Buhrman (Nick), Kara Tompkins (Rob); great-grandchildren: Matthew Kanger (Sarah), Madisen Kanger, Megan Kanger, Cody Kanger (Elizabeth), Blake Kanger, Teagan Kanger, TommiLynn Kanger, Tennley Kanger, Keaton Larma, Avery Larma, Liam Larma, Quinn Larma, Nola Larma, Brody Buhrman, Aiden Buhrman, Jackson Buhrman, Austin Kanger, Luka Kanger, Easton Tompkins; great-great-grandchildren: Colton Kanger, Makenzie Kanger, Benjamin Kanger; brother, Richard Egr.

The family will receive friends on Friday, September 9^th from 5pm to 7pm at St. James Catholic Church, 4710 N. 90^th St., followed by VIGIL SERVICE at 7pm.  MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Saturday, September 10^th at 11am at St. James Catholic Church.  Interment, Resurrection Cemetery with Military Honors.  For memorials, the family suggests Masses or donations to Conception Seminary.
