Dennis Daniel Sullivan

SULLIVAN, Dennis Daniel Oct 10, 1938 – Jan 25, 2013 Preceded in death by parents, John and Helen Sullivan, sister, Patricia Urlaub; granddaughter, Erica Sullivan. Survived by his beloved wife of 43 years, Yvonne Sullivan; children: Diane Collins, Rick Sullivan (Vickie), Chris Sullivan (Barb), David Sullivan, Lisa (Sullivan) Caputo, and John Sullivan (Staci); grandchildren: Shannon and Sarah Volcek, TJ Collins, Maggie and Cassie Sullivan, Nicole Smith (Heath), Amanda Sullivan, Megan Whalen, Lauren Sullivan, Gianna, Ava and Dominic Caputo, Denni Rose Sullivan; great-grandchildren, Haven and Kendall Smith; sisters, Helen Coonce and Janie Deermer; nieces, nephews and cousins. He was always proud to be a South Omaha boy who was a jack of all trades. After serving 2 years in the Army, he met and married the love of his life, Yvonne. He was a proud letter carrier for the U.S. Postal Service for 38 years until he retired. In retirement he loved to travel with his wife and above all loved to spend time with his family. The family will receive friends Tuesday, January 29, 6:15pm to 7pm at St. Pius X Catholic Church, 6905 Blondo, with VIGIL SERVICE at 7pm at the church. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Wednesday, January 30 at 10:30am at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Interment, Resurrection Cemetery with military rites. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Erica Ann Sullivan Memorial Fund.
