Survived by husband, Jan. D.; daughters: Renee Desmet, Deanna Desmet-Rhyne (Jim), Michele Desmet, and Robyn Brewington (Mike); grandchildren: Chad, Natalie, Jana, Claire, and Jackson; and great-grandson, Logan.

VISITATION following CDC guidelines: Friday, August 28th from 4:30pm to 6:30pm at the West Center Chapel, followed by VIGIL SERVICE at 6:30pm.  MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Saturday, August 29th at 10am at Christ the King Catholic Church (654 S. 86th St.)  INTERMENT: Resurrection Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or the Open Door Mission.

    To my beautiful Mom – words cannot express my sorrow.of losing you but I know you will continue to watch over us from heaven above. I love you so much and am grateful that God chose you to be my mother. Thank you for your unconditional love and devotion. I already miss you but take comfort in knowing that we’ll be together again someday..

    My deepest sympathy to Jan and the family of my beautiful cousin. We reunited later in life; and I am so very grateful for the times we spent together.. Just chatting on the phone or gathering with the family . The wonderful dinners and Holidays we celebrated together.. I will always remember your kindness and loving sp[r[t as I await our reuniting.

    Sending my condolence for your wonderful mom. She gave me my first babysitting job for u girls and then kept me coming out when u moved out on paddock road…..I loved babysitting for u kids.
    She was beautiful lady!
