Dolores E. “Doe” Wolff
January 25, 1928 – March 5, 2025
Dolores “Doe” was born on January 25, 1928, in Omaha, NE to J. Stanley and Blanche Pritchard. She was the second child of four with an older sister, Maryanne, and the younger twins William “Bill” S. and Lois. She would spend her summers at the maternal family ranch outside O’Neill NE. Doe graduated from Omaha Benson High School, then attended Duchesne College. She had a lifelong affiliation with Duchesne and her former classmates fundraising and promoting the school.
Doe married the love of her life John “Jack” W.H. Wolff on May 10, 1952. That union produced three children. John Mark, Mary, and Vincent.
Jack and Doe traveled extensively their entire life. There are not too many places that they did not go to. Their home was filled with mementoes from around the world.
However, Doe’s real passion was the card game bridge. An avid player, it was not unusual that she would play several times a week.
Doe was business and community minded. Most of her work years were spent in the insurance industry that was prolific in the Omaha area. She tended to gravitate toward the agriculture insurance industry where she had a stellar career at America Ag Insurance. Her community involvement included advisory positions with women health services, homeless shelters, and City of Omaha chamber of Commerce.
Dolores was preceded in death by her husband Jack; parents J. Stanley and Blanche Pritchard; sister and brother-in-law Mary Ann and Jim Maxey; sister Lois Pritchard; brother Bill Pritchard; and granddaughter, Kathryn Kyllo.
She is survived by sister-in-law, Lorraine Pritchard; brother-in-law F. Patrick Wolff; and her children: John M. (Debbie) Wolff, Mary (Tim) Kyllo, Vincent G. (Patricia) Wolff; grandchildren: John (Kim), Joseph (Ahleeya), Patrick (Megan), Rebecca (Ryan) Deprez, Mathew, Kyle, and Catherine; great- grandchildren: Tyler, Mitchell, Lincoln, Nolan, Gavin, Corbin, Aralyn, Daniel, Zack, and Leo.

I will miss my friend. I no lo get have someone to point my finger at and she would give me the biggest smile. She and the other season ladies and men of the bridge team taught me how to play bridge. There would be rime that Doe would call me as ask if i could just sit with her for a while. Of course, i would jump in my car and head to New Cassel to sit with her. She was a woman full of life. My friend, I will muss you and you rest in peace. Much love from Sister’s With A Purpose Inc.
My deepest condolences to the Family ;
I was care giver for Doe’s buddy Mary Ann Rindone. I was so lucky to have the pleasure of watching Doe and her play cards for hours. The last few days of Mary Ann’s life, Doe came to her room to play cards. We all would laugh often when the group of them met on Tuesday’s to play. You see Doe and Mary Ann were great competitors. When Doe arrived she always brought the rules. She was there to win. And winner she was. We will miss your light!
