Dolores Hernandez
December 24, 1937 – June 2, 2025
She was preceded in death by her sisters, Mary Lou Granados and Lucy Mora.
She is survived by her husband, Abelardo; children: Antonieta “Toni” Hernandez-Miner (Brian), Abelardo Hernandez Jr., Ricardo Hernandez (Debra); grandchildren: Nicole Meyer (Phil), Luis and Adam Miner; great-grandchildren: Andrew, James, and Lydia Meyer; sister, Rose Mora; brothers, Carlos Barrientos (Dolores) and Larry Barrientos.
Visitation begins Thursday, June 12th, 5pm at Heafey-Hoffmann-Dworak-Cutler West Center Chapel with a Vigil Service at 7pm.
Mass of Christian Burial: Friday, June 13th, 10:30am at St. Peter Catholic Church (2706 Leavenworth).
Interment: St. Mary Magdalene Cemetery.

Our deepest sympathy to all the family on Dolores’s passing. A lovely lady and I loved working with her in the Parks Deoartment. Our friends in Uruguay also send their condolences ❤️.
My deepest condolences to the family of Dolores Hernandez. I worked with Dolores Hernandez at the City of Omaha for over 12 years and so enjoyed her presence. She was kind, capable and a joy to be around. The Parks Department was lucky to have her. Rest in Peace.
