Don lived life to its fullest, always with a helping hand. He loved telling a good story or pulling a harmless prank on an unsuspecting victim, and forever added to his ever growing “Book of jokes”, often being asked for the joke of the day.

Prayers to the family, especially those who cared for Don n his final years.
I am very sorry to hear about the passing of Donald Elsasser who was a great friend and great individual. He will be missed by his family, friends, and especially at the German-American Society, where he was a member for over 65 years. I will remember him for his dry humor and his dedication to the Society as well and one of the longtime Bärs, where he was known as the Alka Selzer Bär, and a member of for over 65 years. Rest in peace my friend.
My deepest condolences to the Elsasser family.
Don was a very special uncle to our family. Our love to his family during this time.
We are so sorry to hear of Don’s passing. We knew him from St.Stanislaus Parish. He was such a gentleman and always had a joke to tell. RIP Don.
