;Dear Sherryl and Family: We have known you and Don for most of our years at LCM and our paths have crossed numerous times. I recall our small Bible Study Class in Pastor’s DeYoung’s office with you and Don, Bruce and I, and one other couple. That was many years ago. At times we even met in the basement of the the Pastor’s home. Remember that? I would see Don often at UNO when he was working on one of his degrees. Apparently he loved learning and was taking advantage of many of educational opportunities during his lifetime. He was a leader in whatever he undertook to do. I am sure our kids were in Confirmation classes together along the way, also. Loss of a loved one after so many years of being a twosome is not easy but we know we will see each other soon in that wonderful heaven which we are looking forward to. Praying for you. Donna Holmquist
Sorry for the belated condolences. Just learned of Don’s passing. I enjoyed Don’s company playing golf, sharing investment wisdom and working at Vickers on engineering projects. He was a positive influence on my life. Have missed his company since 2001.
