Donald G. Robinson
September 30, 1939 – April 16, 2018
Don was born on Chickalah Mountain in Arkansas. After graduation in 1957, he went to work in Washington DC. In 1971, he transferred to the Corps of Engineers in Omaha, Ne. He retired in 1997 as Chief of Contracting. He loved life and always had a ready smile and helping hand. He enjoyed square dancing, telling stories, traveling and working in his garage.
He is survived by his wife, Jackie (Kutschkau); children: Deb Pfeiffer (Ron), Diana Felthuis (Rick), Denise Bohlsen (Mark), James Vautravers (Michelle), Cindy Ervin and William Jones; twin sister, Donna Butler and brother Calvin Robinson (Barbara); many grandchildren, in-laws, nieces, nephews and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Euna (Stafford) Robinson; two sisters, Helen Robinson and Oleta Hale; three brothers, Chester, Carroll and James Robinson.
There will be a CELEBRATION OF LIFE on Saturday, May 12th at 10am at Northwest Hills UCC, 9334 Fort St., Omaha, NE. Memorial gifts are suggested to Northwest Hills Church.
