Donna Clare (Fedorczyk) Holmes
March 15, 1943 – April 6, 2020
Survived by husband, Terry Holmes; sons, Michael Holmes (Samantha Hughes) and Tim Holmes (Kirsten); granddaughter, Jen Strickland (Scotty); grandsons, Garrett Holmes and Travis Holmes; and sister, Marcia Scott (Barry).
Donna was born and raised in South Omaha. She graduated from St. Stanislaus Grade School and St. Joseph High School. Donna and Terry were married on April 4, 1964. She was a loving wife and dedicated mother.
Donna loved children. She loved to make them smile and laugh. Donna would dress in any one of seven costumed characters such as Mrs. Santa Claus or Drucilla the Witch. She would entertain children with storytelling at their homes and schools, as well as hospitals. Donna started a clown ministry at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church. The clown ministry grew to a dozen clowns trained and guided by Donna. The clowns would visit schools and hospitals to entertain children with one act plays.
Donna was a volunteer at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church and also a member and volunteer at the Assistance League of Omaha (ALO).
VISITATION: Saturday, July 31st from 9am to 10am with MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL at 10am, all at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church, 14330 Eagle Run Drive. Memorials are suggested to St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church.

Terry and family, sincere condolences to you. Donna was a great cousin and good person to be around. Our prayers are with you. cousins Carol Sempek and Tommy Sempek.
Terry and sons, we were saddened to hear that Donna passed. Marty and I remember you fondly as the best scout leaders at Holy Cross. We were thrilled to see you again some years ago at Verna and Fred’s daughter’s backyard party. Knowing how strong a woman she was I am sure she will be with you and guide you till you are with her again.
