Donna L. Hansen
August 26, 1928 – November 6, 2020
Donna Lee Miller was born on August 26, 1928 to Ogal and Belle Miller on a farm near Shelby, NE, where she grew up and graduated from Shelby High School. With a diploma in “Normal Training,” she taught school for three years in a one room schoolhouse in Polk County. She moved to Omaha where she met and married Lloyd C. Hansen in 1951. In 1963, she graduated from Capital Beauty School. She opened a salon in her home that she operated for 30 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Lloyd; parents; three sisters: Jnle Gruber, Marybelle Thelen, and Florence Miller. She is survived by sons, Mike (Cindy) Hansen and Doug (Carol) Hansen; grandchildren: Dwayne (Michelle), Jeff (Yese) and Crystal; great grandchildren: Erik, Ella, Ethan, Danny, Kaylee, Taylor and Jacob; sister, Jlee Rafert.
VISITATION according to CDC guidelines: Tuesday, Nov. 10th from 4pm-6pm at the mortuary. The family will not be present. Private family services on Wednesday at Evergreen Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to Westgate Assisted Living.

I called bingo at Westgate until the arrival of Covid-19. Donna was such a pleasure and joy to know. She was one of my “bingo ladies.” We had many good laughs. I have missed her during these months of isolation. I wish you the blessings of God’s peace and love at this time.
