Dorothy Andrysik

February 1, 1929 – February 7, 2021

Preceded in death by husband, Arnold; parents, Clarence and Anne Chruma: sister, Marian Mach and brother-in-law, Charlie; brother, Robert “Bob” Chruma.  Survived by son, Richard Andrysik and Mary; daughter, Barbara Andrysik; son, James Andrysik; granddaughter, Sara Aksamit and Dan; grandson, Thomas Andrysik; and sister-in-law, Kathy Chruma.

She loved her family. She lived in South Omaha until the later years of her life. She worked at Mutual of Omaha until raising a family. After her children grew up, she worked at Omaha South High School. She loved to grow flowers, decorate birthday and wedding cakes, and sew children’s clothes, doll clothes and quilts. She fished and camped with the family. She spent her closing months under the care of Prairie Meadows Alzheimer’s Special Care Center.

MEMORIAL SERVICE:  Saturday, February 13th at 10:30am at the West Center Chapel.  Memorials may be sent to Fontenelle Forest or Nebraska Medicine Cancer Survivorship Program.
