SCHISSEL, Dorothy E. Jul 26, 1924 – Oct 3, 2011 Dorothy Elaine (Spotts) Schissel was born to Samuel C. and Claudia B. Spotts in Battle Creek, Iowa. She was married to Laurence M. Larry Schissel who preceded her in death in 1980. She is survived by son and daughter-in-law, Dennis and Cheryl Schissel of Weston, NE; daughter, Deborah Druery of Omaha; sister, Barbara Grimes (Tom) of Cascade, MT; 6 grandchildren: Dennis M. Schissel Jr., David Schissel, Dani Schissel, Heidi Mangiameli, Holly Peterson, Heather Hinckley; 11 great-grandchildren; many nephews and nieces. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, 4 brothers, 5 sisters, and a great-granddaughter. The family will receive friends Sunday, 6pm to 8pm at the West Center Chapel. SERVICES Monday, 10am, West Center Chapel. Entombment, Calvary Mausoleum.
