FULLER, Dorothy Louise (Gallen) Jul 22, 2013 Former Executive Secretary of the Independent Insurance Agents for many years. Passed away July 22, 2013 after a brief illness. Preceded in death by father, John; mother, Beatrice Holcomb; stepfather, Amos Myers; sister, Evelyn; brother, James; former husband, William T. Fuller. Survived by daughters: Diana (James OConnor), Marlene, and Liane (Matthew Effken) Fuller-Effken; granddaughters, Elizabeth Liz and Emily Maggie OConnor; devoted friends. Born in Philadelphia, she attended the University of Pennsylvania and moved with her husband to Omaha in 1951. Dorothy was very proud of her involvement in the insurance industry, her contributions to the community (she was a lifetime PTA member, Campfire leader and Sunday School teacher), and her family. A beloved mother and grandmother, she loved life, her house and the garden, flowers, all celebrations, and her cat, Lily. Her desire was to share with others her love of reading, writing, and a knowledge of and love for current affairs. Her presence will be missed by all. The family will receive friends Thursday, July 25th from 4pm to 6:30pm at the West Center Chapel. Private family MEMORIAL SERVICE to be held at a later date. Memorials are suggested to the American Cancer Society or Central Presbyterian Church.
