So sorry on so many levels. Words at this time just somehow fall short.
I just heard of his passing this morning. I am very sorry for hi families loss and will pray for them. I knew Doug for about 15 years or so through my account with his place of employment. He was a wonderful man and a I will miss his friendship as well as the support he provided through our professional relationship
I had only known Doug about three years thru my employer, Cross Automotive. My boss, Frank Bartlett III knew him even longer. I have been in the auto industry for over 50 years and Doug was my “go to” guy. Frank and I were in shock when we learned of his passing. he was a great guy, always tried to help. His loss will be felt industry wide, There is not a day that goes by that I think “Oh, I’ll call Doug” then tears come to my eyes.
Doug you will be missed.
I knew Doug from our school days, beginning all the way back to grade school. We had several classes together and he was always kind and considerate. Always. What a dear soul. I am so sorry for your loss.
