WILLRETT, Kathleen A., Dr. Bones Jun 10, 1950 Jul 20, 2012 Loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Preceded in death by son, Michael S. Willrett; parents, Ann and Earl Jones. Survived by husband, Steve. J. Willrett; daughters: Anne Peterson (Scott) and Dr. Kristine Rhoades (Dr. Seth Rhoades); granddaughter, Addison Peterson; brothers, Dr. Dennis Jones (Marianne) and Dan Jones (Karen); sister, Karen Leverich. Kathy was raised in Omaha. She met her husband, Steve, while playing tennis; they were married at St. John Catholic Church. Kathy earned her Doctorate in Education after she was diagnosed with ovarian cancer. She continued to teach full time at the College of Saint Mary, influencing many students and colleagues in education, life and style. Memorial funds will go to building a pediatric nursing simulation lab at the College of Saint Mary. The idea to build was Kathys to begin with and one she was passionate about. We want to thank everyone who has been here for Kathy these past five years, helping with her care, and everyone who supported her and her family in both good and bad times. Kathy was a very open and loving person. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. Let us celebrate her beautiful life! The family will receive friends Monday, 5pm to 7pm, followed by VIGIL SERVICE at 7pm at the West Center Chapel. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Tuesday, 10am, St. John Catholic Church at Creighton U. Interment, Calvary Cemetery. All are welcome to join the family for a luncheon at College of Saint Mary following the committal service at the cemetery.
