Our deepest sympathies to all of Lee’s family. I know this leaves a hole in your hearts that no one else can fill in the same way that he did. I met Shirley when Lee was deployed, and we would sit in his bedroom, and she would talk about him. I “borrowed” books from his vast collection with her permission and I grew to respect his curious mind through this connection. So much to miss about a man who thinks deeply about everything. Love the sweet innocent picture of him! So very sorry for your loss!

My deepest condolences and prayers. Mr. Samples was my history professor at Mississippi State University in the early 2000’s and was, without a doubt, one of the coolest professors I’ve ever had.
