Dear Engardt family, my heart breaks for your family at the loss of your loving wonderful mother and grandmother. Most of all I’ll cherish her beautiful smile and gentle demeanor. My sincere sympathies to you all. She will be missed.
May God bless you all with peace and comfort. Most of my childhood and young adolescent years are filled with nothing but the fondest memories of Edith and the entire Engardt family. Those memories will be cherished always.
Dear Gary and Engardt family – May God bless you all during your time of sadness, but more importantly, reflections of your cherished memories with Edith. It has been 30+ years since I last saw her yet her smile and warmth always remained with me. I am blessed to have known her as she welcomed me into the Engardt family during my youth with open arms and a warm heart.
What a beautiful life and wonderful woman: she was truly the definition of love and peace. We were with you in spirit as we watched virtually, and the picture collage and words shared just showed how vast her love was for her whole family. Much love and blessings to you all.
I’ve known Gary since the mid 1990s. In that time I have become good friends with him. Maybe a little different from normal peer to peer friendships is that I had many outings with Gary’s parents. Always fun, insightful and warm. Gary, you have been blessed with extraordinary parents. Wishing Edith the best in whatever may be her next journey.
