Edith L. Trawicke
July 15, 1931 – July 3, 2022
Born in David City, Nebraska to Ed and Ella Sauser. Attended Marietta Grade School, graduated from David City High School in 1949. Began a nursing career and graduated from St. Joseph Hospital in 1953 and Creighton University in 1956. She loved nursing and enjoyed bowling, bingo and family activities.
Preceded in death by parents; brother, Mark; sister, Eulalia; sons, James and Michael. Survived by husband, Joseph; daughters, Mary (Tom) Schroeder and Kathleen Trawicke; son, John (Angie); four grandchildren: Crystal, Amy, Matthew, and Samantha; six great-grandchildren.
Family will receive friends on Thursday, July 7th from 4pm to 6pm, followed by VIGIL SERVICE at 6pm with Nebraska Nurse Honor Guard.
MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Friday, July 8th, 10am at St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church (1248 S. 10th Street).
Interment: Resurrection Cemetery.
Memorials are suggested to St. Frances Cabrini Catholic Church of a Charity of one’s choice.
