May 15, 1935 – March 11, 2019

Preceded in death by husband, Duane A. Smith; son, Verlyn; daughter-in-law, Kathy; brothers, Donald, Henry, John and Kenneth Peacock.

Survived by children: Patricia Wokurka, Donald (Teresa), Verneal Rogers, Douglas (Jackie), Kevin (Nancy), and Kimberley Arnold (William); seventeen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; sisters, Isabelle Royce (Landis) and Mary Beth Kellerman (William); brother, William Peacock (LaRae); sister-in-law, Carol Collins; many other loving family members.

The family will receive friends Sunday, March 17th from 3pm to 5pm at the West Center Chapel.  FUNERAL: Monday, March 18th at 10am, First Christian Church, 6630 Dodge St., with additional FUNERAL SERVICE in Pawnee City at 3pm at First Presbyterian Church.  Interment, Pawnee City, Nebraska Cemetery.

    We miss you already Aunt Edna. You have always been such an astoundingly wonderful lady. Give all those who’ve passed our love, and know that it’s with you as well. All of our love and prayers for all of the rest of the family. I wish we could attend, more than you know, but we’re unfortunately stuck by the flood.

    As some of you know – I have known this/your Smith Family for 3 Generations in at least 3 Congregations.
