Preceded in death by parents Edward, Sr. and Ruth Chism; son Bruce Chism. Survived by wife of 54 years Artis; sons Gary (LaShonda) Chism, Dwayne (Kanyon) Chism; daughter-in-law Rebecca Chism; grandchildren Marquetta, Cameron, Courtney, Alexis, Tia, Braylon, Zevin, Dominique, Gracie, and DeVonte, 4 great grandchildren; siblings Eloise, Wesley, Thomas, and Julia. VISITATION: 5-7:00 p.m. Thursday, December 8, 2016 at Bellevue Memorial Funeral Chapel. FUNERAL SERVICE: 10:00 a.m., Friday, December 9, 2016 at Bellevue Memorial Funeral Chapel. INTERMENT: Bellevue Cemetery. Memorials to the American Cancer Society.

I am so sorry for your loss. I flew with Ed in the Air Force at Offutt AFB on the looking Glass ABNCP. He was a great Team Chief, and a good friend. May he rest in peace.
