Eileen Bridget Rose Farrell Bidrowski was born the baby of eight children on February 22, 1943, in Omaha, NE to Edmund and Elizabeth (Waite) Farrell. She peacefully passed away April 21, 2023, at her home surrounded by family in Omaha, Nebraska.

Eileen attended St. Agnes Grade School and St. Joseph High School, both in Omaha. She had the fondest memories of her childhood and reminisced often of the loving environment in which she grew up. Her brothers and sisters were her most treasured friends throughout her life. On September 17, 1966, Eileen married her sweetheart, Ted Bidrowski, at St. Agnes Church. Ted and Eileen created many happy memories raising their seven children on Hanson Lake and in their South Omaha neighborhood. She worked at Prudential Insurance before marrying, then at First Data and Ashland Park-Robbins School in her later years to ensure her children had a Catholic education, which was very important to her.

Eileen was a long time and active parishioner at St. Agnes Church. She had a great devotion to Our Mother of Perpetual Help, reciting the novena every Tuesday for decades. She was immensely proud to be a Farrell, her Irish heritage, her South Omaha roots, and her strong Catholic faith. She thoroughly enjoyed her family time, planning many menus, family reunions and get-togethers. She also delighted in playing the slot machines across the river with Ted. They had such fun together. Eileen was a caring, patient, and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She will be dearly missed.

Eileen was preceded in death by her husband of 47 years, Ted; her parents: Edmund and Elizabeth; her brothers: Ed and Tom Farrell; sisters, Betty Riedmann, Mary Smolinski, Winnie Kouba, and Margie Nicola.

Survivors include her children: Edward “Teddy” (Kathy) Bidrowski of Crestwood, IL, Brigid Bidrowski of Omaha, Susan (Kendall) Lammers of Axtell, NE, Elizabeth (Greg) Zoucha of Bellevue, NE, Thomas Bidrowski of Great Bend, KS, Mary “Muffin” (Jeremie) Johnson of Creighton, NE, and Kathleen “Kelly” (Brent) Linder of Omaha, NE; 25 treasured grandchildren; 9 loved great-grandchildren; beloved sister, Kate Braniff of Tekamah, NE and sister-in-law, Lee Farrell of La Vista, NE; numerous nieces and nephews.
