IRWIN, Elaine C. Jul 3, 1925 Feb 17, 2013 Age 87, passed away peacefully on February 17, 2013. She is survived by her loving children, Sharon Dowell, Karen Liebentritt (Mike), John Irwin (Monica), and Mike Irwin (Mary Jo); fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren; and sister, Marguerite Ciani. Elaine was a woman of remarkable wit and intelligence and will be greatly missed by all. She was caring, generous, playful and wise. Elaine was one of those extremely rare human beings whose heart was always open to understand and feel the concerns of others, and her mind could always absorb the ideas of others without prejudgment. Everyone who had contact with her adored her. When she touched your arm with her hand, smiled her brilliant smile, and shared her thoughts with you, you knew that all would be well. She shall be missed by so many. The family will receive friends Tuesday, February 19, 5pm to 7pm, followed by a TIME OF SHARING at 7pm at the West Center Chapel. GRAVESIDE SERVICE Wednesday, February 20 at 10am at Calvary Cemetery.
