Eleanor B. “Junie” Malot
November 6, 1927 – January 21, 2019
Junie was an avid golfer at Happy Hollow Club in Omaha, a gourmet cook, an accomplished bridge player, a world traveler, and one who enjoyed and provided joy to every party or occasion she attended. She will be greatly missed.
Preceded in death by, husband Major Richard C. Malot; parents, John and Eleanor Boland; brother, John J. “Butch” Boland III; sister, Ann P. Boland. Survived by children, Richard C. Malot Jr. (Joleen), and Jim Malot (Caroline Chantry); grandchildren: J. Dylan Malot (Katrina), Moriah and J. Zoe Malot; great-grandchildren, Mitchell and Eloise; bonus son, Dave Keane; many other family members.
The family will receive friends on Friday, January 25th from 4pm to 6pm at the West Center Chapel, followed by VIGIL SERVICE at 6pm. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Saturday, January 26th at 10am at Christ the King Catholic Church, 654 S. 86th St. Interment: Hillcrest Memorial Park. Memorials are suggested to the American Red Cross.

Our deepest condolences and heartfelt sympathies to the Malot family on Junie’s passing. In times like these, simple words are not enough! Though, praying and hoping for strength, comfort and peace to sustain you all through this loss.
