Eleanor L. “Elle” Frady
July 26, 1935 – November 6, 2020
Eleanor grew up with three loving brothers and two sisters. A large family filled with love and happy times. She married George Frady Jr. and they raised three children who all served in the military. There were many days filled happiness with trips, holidays and sports involving the entire family. Christmas time was always one of her favorite times of the year, filled with togetherness and joy! Her St. Jude prayer card is battered and worn for the benefit of others. The poem she wrote many decades ago, tells her story of love of her children. Trips planned months ahead of time were a highlight of the family with our AAA map packet, salami sandwiches and Goody Pop. Those are the memories we will always remember.
Elle had many careers and volunteered her time – a phone operator, real estate agent, market researcher, parent group but most importantly she was a Mom and wife. Elle loved her family and faith. If you were struggling with illness or challenges, you can bet she put you on the St. Jude prayer list. You may not even have known she was praying for you.
Eleanor “Elle” Frady passed away on November 6. She was 85 years old. After many decades of extreme pain, Elle left this world to be with our Lord and to live without pain. Mom, grandma, sister, aunt and friend will be dearly missed by her children, grandchildren, brothers and sister and dear friends. Elle was born on July 26, 1935 in Omaha to Frank S. Kros Sr. and Anna Kuzio Kros. Elle was the third of six children.
She is preceded in death by her husband, George Frady; parents; oldest sister, Bernice Janacek; and brother, Frank (Sonnie) Kros, Jr. She is survived by sister, Dorothy Halamek; brothers, Tom Kros (Kathy) and Mike Kros (Pauletta); sons: Todd of Severna Park, Maryland and Terry of Springfield, Virginia; and daughter, Cindy (Gary) of Omaha. Elle’s grandchildren: Derek and Michelle of Columbus, Ohio, Craig and Bailey of Schramburg, Illinios, Eric, Evan and Grant of Serverna Park, Maryland and Kaitlyn, Paiten and Lewis of Springfield, Virginia will miss their wonderful grandmother.
VIGIL SERVICE: Thursday, November 12th, 7pm, at the West Center Chapel with VISITATION from 5pm to 7pm. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Friday, November 13th, 10am, St. Gerald Catholic Church (96th and Q) INTERMENT: Hillcrest Memorial Park. Memorials may be directed to the family.

Cindy and Gary and the rest of the family. Your family is in my prayers as you grieve the loss of Elle. I only got to know Elle a short time but what I discovered was a beatiful soul who loved her family and most of all loved Jesus with her whole heart. May she rest in peace.
