GRUMMERT, Eleanor P., Apr 25, 1911 Jun 22, 2012. Age 101, born near Inland, Neb. to W. Scott and Jennie (Morris) Wilson. She was an elementary school teacher and in 1941 married Wilfred H. Grummert. They made their home in Omaha where they raised their family. Eleanor was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. God was the center of her life and she served him faithfully in her life and in her more than 66 years of membership in Central Presbyterian Church. Eleanor is survived by her loving husband of 70 years, Wilfred; children, Gary and Carol Grummert of Inland, NE, Ron and Ann Grummert, Margaret and Michael Ross, all of Omaha; grandchildren: Lori Grummert Wright, Michael Ross, Scott Grummert, Miranda Ross Mortensen, Melissa Ross Godwin and Brian Grummert; 8 great-grandchildren; numerous nephews, nieces and 1 cousin. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Ralph Wilson; sister, Sarita Wilson; grandson, Neal Grummert; nephew, Darrell Wilson. The family will receive friends Tuesday, 6pm to 8pm at the West Center Chapel. FUNERAL Wednesday, 2pm, West Center Chapel. Interment, Hillcrest Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to Central Presbyterian Church of Omaha.
