Elizabeth A. “Betty” Costanzo
March 16, 1928 – May 15, 2024
Elizabeth Ann Costanzo (Duffy) was born in Omaha, NE, on March 16, 1928, and passed away on May 15, 2024, peacefully at home.
Elizabeth graduated from Duchesne Academy. Elizabeth married Sam in 1947. She taught third grade at Holy Name and Christ the King Schools. Elizabeth volunteered in many places including the Omaha Community Playhouse, Hospice House, and the Emergency Pregnancy Services. She was an active Catholic daughter.
She was preceded in death by husband, Sam Costanzo; son-in-law, Jon Bowers; and daughter-in-law, Sue Costanzo.
Elizabeth is survived by her 7 children: Cathy (Jack) Hawk, Sharon Bowers, Mike Costanzo, Maureen (Ron) Herrick, Sam Costanzo, John (Lisa) Costanzo, and Joe Costanzo; 15 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; and many special friends, nieces and nephews. She will be missed by all. May she rest in peace.
VISITATION: Sunday, May 19th, 2 to 4 p.m., followed by VIGIL SERVICE at 4 p.m., at West Center Chapel, 7805 W. Center Rd.
MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Monday, May 20th, 10 a.m., at Christ the King Catholic Church, 654 S. 86th St.
Interment, Calvary Cemetery.
Memorials may be directed to Christ the King Catholic Church, Josie Harper Hospice House or Ronald McDonald House.

Loved Mrs. Costanzo. Great neighbor, generous person, wonderful person to talk to. Condolences.
So sorry to hear about Betty. She was such a lovely person. Enjoyed seeing her family gatherings.
