Elizabeth A. Priborsky
November 6, 1927 – April 5, 2025
Elizabeth Ann (Betty) Priborsky was born on November 6th, 1927, in Omaha, NE and passed away peacefully at home on April 5th, 2025. The daughter of James and Rose Hecl, Betty lived her entire life in Omaha.
Betty is survived by her three children and their spouses: Robert Priborsky (Nancy), Barbara Meister (Gary) and Jeffrey Priborsky (Julie). In addition to seven grandchildren and spouses: Trisha Johnson (Tom), Tara Mascarenas (Aaron), Teresa Priborsky (Matt), Jessica Rodecker (Travis), Steven Meister (Kaycee), Jennifer Meister, and Nicholas Meister. Betty also has nine great-grandchildren: Avery Johnson. Sophia, Blake and Jaxon Meister. Mason, Aleesha, Carter, Emily and Caleb Mascarenas. Her family was her greatest joy, and she cherished every moment spent with them.
Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Robert W.; Grandson, Bobby; and two sisters, Marie and Agnes.
Her passions included polka music, dancing, watching NASCAR and football, puzzles, and gardening. Known for her personality, kindness, sense of humor, and stubbornness, Betty touched the lives of all who knew her. She had a unique ability to make everyone feel welcome.
Betty will be deeply missed by all who knew her. Her spirit and love will forever remain in our hearts.
VISITATION: Thursday, April 10, 2025, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the West Center Chapel, followed by VIGIL SERVICE at 7:00 p.m.
MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Friday April 11th at 11:00 a.m. at Mary Our Queen Catholic Church, 3405 S. 118th Street.
Interment: Resurrection Cemetery.
Memorials will be directed by the family.
