JENSEN, Elizabeth (Davis), Bette Jun 17, 1925 Mar 14, 2011 Age 85, died Monday in Kansas City, MO. Bette worked for the Union Pacific Railroad as an accounting clerk for over 37 years. She enjoyed the work tremendously and had many close friendships. After retiring she remained active, volunteering with the NARBW (National Association of Railway Business Women) and Clarkson Hospital. She enjoyed collecting dining car china, participating in the Operation Lifesaver Program, and traveling. She was also a member of the Fontenelle Chapter of Eastern Star. She was preceded in death by her husband, Everett L. Jensen; sisters: Virginia Phillips, Catherine Lynn , and Barbara Puryear. She is survived by daughters, Nancy Johnson (Greg) and Barbara Jensen of Kansas City, MO; sons, Joseph Ruan and James Ruan of California. SERVICES Friday, 11am, West Center Chapel. Interment, Cedar Lawn Cemetery, Council Bluffs, IA. VISITATION Thursday, 5pm-7pm at the West Center Chapel. Memorials are suggested to the Alzheimers Association.
