RASMUSSEN, Elizabeth Engel Pate May 12, 1965 Jun 18, 2014 Beloved mother, daughter, sister, wife, and friend, born on May 12th, 1965, passed away in the hospital on June 18, 2014. Elizabeth was born and grew up in Tucson, Arizona, where her father operated a Shakeys Pizza Parlor. She graduated from Tucson High in 1983, and then from Lamsons Business College in 1985. She moved to Omaha in 1989, where she had her precious daughter, Lindsey. In 2004 she married Ron Rasmussen. Her kind spirit won her many friends, and she leaves behind a host of people who loved her: daughter, Lindsey Pate; mother, Sue Engel, and niece, Anne Dyer of Tucson; sister, Jamie (Fritz) Sullivan; nephews, Matthew and Christopher Seidholz; and husband Ron, of Omaha. It was a blessing to have her in life, and she will be missed forever. VISITATION Sunday, June 22nd from 4pm to 6pm at the West Center Chapel. SERVICES Monday, June 23rd at 11am at Lutheran Church of the Master, 2617 S. 114 St. Interment, Evergreen Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorials to surviving daughter Lindsey Pate, through a donation account called Elizabeth Rasmussen Memorial Fund at any Wells Fargo branch.
