Our Lord has called another of His faithful servants to her reward in Heaven. And Liz truly was one such person.
My wife, Marilyn and I were honored to be asked to be her Godparents. Even better, we have been the beneficiaries of her friendship and love these past sixty-two years. Yes, sixty-two years and it still seems she was a young kid to me. In truth though, Liz was really an Old Soul, the quintessential Auntie it seems so many wonderful and lucky Italian families have. Never married, hardworking at two jobs for many years and still always ready to help babysit nieces and nephews or help siblings and even Uncle Don when needed.
And she always remembered us, her godparents, every holiday, birthday, or anniversary with a call or greeting. Thanks to social media and her interest she also kept up with the members of our rather large and scattered family.
    Love, Your Godfather

Liz, thank you for the beautiful memories that we made together throughout the years.
I’m especially honored that you included me in your Thanksgiving and Christmas events with your family. You’ll never know how much that meant to me when I was single. And when Dave came along, you welcomed him with open arms and you had a way of caring and accepting him. Thank you for that.
You were one of a kind Liz and I say that in an honest way. You always had a smile on your face and you always brought out the best in people.
You are irreplaceable Liz! I owe it to your parents. They were the BEST! They taught you well.
I love and appreciate them for enfolding me into your family events.
I love you and I miss you-I’ll miss you for forever.
I’ll see you again one day. Until then, keep smiling my forever friend.
    Love,
    Marg
