The thing I admired the most about Bette is how she made you feel. Going to Bette’s house with her daughter, Julie, Bette always welcomed you, asked interested in your life, and said/shared something that made you smile or laugh. So many great childhood memories. My sincere condolences!

We met Bette through my sister & brother in law (Jody & Lee Carhart) who lived across the street from Bette. She was such a fun-loving, “tell it like it is” type of gal. Shared many laughs! I know she will be missed by many people and that she left a lifelong impression on those who met her. Our deepest condolences to her family-you are in our thoughts and prayers. Aunt Bette was like a mother to me. She was so special in so many ways. I will always remember her for her sense of humor and her love of life. She will be greatly missed.
