Elizabeth M. “Beth” Cihal
September 14, 1941 – November 8, 2020
Beth was born and raised in Amelia, NE, and moved to Omaha where she married and raised her family. She loved spending time with her sisters, family and friends. She enjoyed travelling all over the world, playing bridge and being a part of her church community at Christ the King parish. Her favorite time of year was Christmas, and she shared that enthusiasm with those around her. She will be greatly missed.
She is preceded in death by her husband, William “Bill”; and sisters: Charol Tibbetts, Phyllis Blackmore and Sharon Dexter. She is survived by her children: Andrew, Christine (Mike), Carla (Luis) and Carol (Casey); 2 grandchildren, Peter and John; and her sisters, Nancy Everett (Rol) and Joyce Easton.
VISITATION following CDC guidelines: Thursday, November 12th from 9am to 10am, at Christ the King Catholic Church (654 S. 86th St.) followed by MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL at 10am. GRAVESIDE SERVICE: Thursday, 12 Noon, St. Vitus Cemetery – Touhy, Nebraska. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Christ the King Catholic Church or New Cassel Foundation.

My deepest sympathy to all of you. Though you miss her greatly, you can trust that she is at peace in the holy presence of a very loving and merciful God. She is there with many other family members and friends.
I was blessed to be able to attend the funeral and burial of Bill. That was a beautiful celebration of his life.
