July 16, 1942 – February 1, 2021

Preceded by father, Ellis Brown II; mother, Jean Brown. Survived by wife, Constance (Ricceri) Brown; son, Gary (Shawn); grandson, Tony (Nicole); granddaughter, Alexandra; many nieces and nephews.

Born July 16, 1942 to Ellis and Jean Brown. He attended South High, (class of 1960), In 1961 he married his high school sweetheart, Connie Ricceri. In 1968 he joined the US Army and was deployed to Vietnam (172nd Transportation) returned September 1969. After Vietnam he went to work at Union Pacific Railroad as an Electrician until closing of the Omaha facilities. He was an avid hunter, fisherman, outdoors man. Loving husband, father, and friend.

SERVICE (following CDC guidelines): Wednesday, Feb. 10, 2021, 11am, West Center Chapel with Military Honors by South Omaha American Legion Post 331. Memorials to VNA Hospice.

    Also was a Bronze Star recipient for his actions in Vietnam. RIP Brother.

    Sorry to hear of Gary’s passing. We had a lot of fun down at the river. He was really a nice guy.
