July 15, 1969 – April 9, 2023
He was preceded in death by his mother, Charmaine; brother, Warren Joseph; sister, Sarah Elizabeth; stepmother, Margaret.
He is survived by his father, Warren; 12 brothers and sisters; many nieces and nephews.
Vigil Service: Thursday, April 13, 2023, 7PM at St. Cecilia Cathedral with family receiving friends from 5-7PM (701 N. 40th Street)
Mass of Christian Burial: Friday, April 14, 2023, 11:15AM at St. Cecilia Cathedral
Private Interment: Omaha National Cemetery with Military Rites.
Memorials are suggested to St. Cecilia’s grade school or to the family.

Condolences to Eric’s family. I was Eric’s roommate at Mount Michael and can attest that Eric was always “one of the good ones” Honestly I wasn’t the easiest roommate at 17. Even at time I appreciated Eric’s patience and willingness to play along. He also bought my guitar and amp which is something I hope he continued to practice. So sorry for the pain this loss must be for Eric’s friends and family.

I came went through the Omaha Police academy Class 1-94 with Eric. He had a heart of gold and served his community for 25 years. RIP Eric. Tell Jimmy hello for us all!
Eric served his country and his community with his big heart. His smile, his laugh, and his caring will always be a reminder of how good we can all be. It is said a person lives on as long as they are remembered,. Eric has a long way to go and affect all of our futures.
Eric, I am grateful I got to give you a big hug the last time that I saw you. You are reminding me of why we never take a day for granted, because none of us are promised another sunrise or sunset. Enjoy being with our wonderful Savior as you were hand picked by him and him only, to be the great person on earth as you are now in Heaven! Please watch over and protect us all that aren’t where we need to be to be handpicked…God Bless You and I am glad I was one of the lucky ones to know you.
Eric was a great guy that I never got to work directly with but was always such a pleasure to visit with and share his positive, big smile.
