HEINZ, Ervan D. Erv Jun 20, 1933 Sep 12, 2014 Age 81; passed away peacefully in his home in Omaha surrounded by his loving family on September 12, 2014. He was born in Lawrence, Nebraska on June 20, 1933 to the late Ambrose and Catherine Heinz. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Paula Smits; his granddaughter, Amanda Smits; and twin son and daughter, Ervan Heinz Jr. and Gwen Heinz. Ervan is survived by his wife of 25 years, Sharon Heinz-Meister; sons and daughters: Donna Heinz, Theresa Bruno, Linda (Craig) Waddell, Beverly (Kenneth) ONeil, Jim (Debbie) Heinz, Steve (Carol) Heinz, Beth (Creighton) Horton, and Tammi (Ian) Nokes; nineteen grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; brothers, Eugene Heinz and Edwin (Barb) Heinz; and a host of other family and friends. The family will receive friends Tuesday, September 16th from 6:15pm to 7:30pm at Holy Cross Catholic Church, 4810 Woolworth Ave., with ROSARY at 7:30pm at the church. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL Wednesday, September 17th at 2pm at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Lawrence, NE. Interment, Sacred Heart Cemetery in Lawrence, NE.
