Esta Faye Jones, age 76 of Missouri Valley, Iowa passed away Friday September 23, at Longview Nursing Home in Missouri Valley. Esta was born September 29, 1934 in St Johns Township, to Howard Clarence Mace and Gertrude (Powley) Mace. Esta married Casey, March 27, 1954. She worked for the Community Memorial Hospital in housekeeping for over twenty years, and for the Missouri Valley Schools. She was a member of the First Baptist Church and the American Legion Auxiliary. Esta loved spending time with her family, and friends, playing cards, cross stitching, and sports. She especially loved watching football. Survivors include her children, Connie Siepker and husband Kevin of Jackson, Minnesota, John Jones and wife Pat of Logan, Iowa, Lonnie Jones and wife Vicky of Council Bluffs, Iowa, Ronald Jones and wife Laura of Missouri Valley, Iowa, brother in law Darrel Bertelsen of Missouri Valley, Iowa, brother; Howard Mace of Hazelton, Iowa, sisters; Karen Moore and husband Ken of CoeurdAlene, Idaho, Carol Lance and husband Bob of Missouri Valley, Iowa, twelve grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. Esta was preceded in death by her parents, husband John (Casey), sister; Marie, grandsons; Dustin and John Derek. Visitation with family will be held from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm Monday with a prayer service at 7:00 at Hennessey-Aman Funeral Home. The family would like to invite everyone to lunch and a time of fellowship at the Eagles Club following the committal service at the cemetery.
