Fabian Rodriguez

Fabian Rodriguez

November 16, 1966 – June 24, 2022

On the evening of June 24, 2022, Fabian Rodriguez, age 55, peacefully went to be with the Lord.  Fabian was survived by his loving wife, Selena Rodriguez (Jordan), of Omaha, Nebraska; his daughter, Kayla Rodriguez; son, Nathan Rodriguez; brothers, Joseph Rodriguez and Joel Rodriguez (Peggy); sisters: Sylvanna Rodriguez, Sindy Broecker (Bob), Alice Nicholas (Bruce), Suelinda White (Oliver), and Salma Hargrove (Tom);  many other relatives and friends.

Fabian was preceded in death by his father, Jacob and mother, Sofia Rodriguez; his brothers: Arturo Rodriguez, Jacob Rodriguez, Paul Rodriguez, and Philipe Rodriguez; and sister, Sophia Hillis.

Fabian was born on November 16, 1966, in San Antonio, Texas, the youngest of thirteen children.  His fondest memories growing up were of helping with his family’s restaurant; this is where his love of cooking and serving others came from. He dreamed of owning a diner that he could share with his daughter and son. His personality was larger than life and he could easily be found wiping a tear from his eye when he shared fond memories of his children and other family members.

Above all things he loved the Lord and loved being in church to worship and fellowship with other believers. Fabian never met a stranger and would witness to everyone about his Jesus.

What his wife, Selena, loved most about Fabian was his tender and loving heart. Just days before he passed, he wrote Kayla, Nathan and Selena a letter expressing his love for them.

Fabian truly loved his family and friends unconditionally.

MEMORIAL SERVICE: Saturday, July 9th at 2pm, West Center Chapel.  To view a live broadcast of the Service, please visit www.heafeyheafey.com and click the “View Live Cast” button at the top of the home page.

Fabian you were my heart and as you would often say “we are attached at the hip”. It is going to be so painful not having you be my constant thought and my go to for every good or bad thing that happens throughout my day. I love you more than words and feel blessed that we got the time we did to be husband and wife. Goodbye for now my love

My heart is breaking for you Salena, and my kids, Kayla and Nathan. Fabian loved you all so deeply. He fought so hard to stay with you; in the end, he peacefully went to be with the One he worship here on earth. Now he is singing and dancing in heaven. BLESSING
    May the Lord bless you,
    and keep you; may He
    make His face shine upon
    you, and be gracious to
you; may the Lord lift up
    His countenance upon you,
    and give you peace.
    Numbers 6:24-26

    Prayers and love!
