Floyd C. Goecke

February 16, 1931 – January 14, 2019

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, businessman, and philanthropist.  Past President of the Exchange Club of Omaha.

Preceded in death by parents, Frank and Elizabeth (Eilers) Goecke; brothers, Jerry and Melvin Goecke and a brother in infancy; sisters, Bonnie Lynam and Doris Broich.  Survived by wife, Mary Jane; children: Christine Micheels (David), Jeffrey Goecke (Kathleen), Margaret Wieseler, Carolyn Schmitz (David); eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; sister, Mary Gute; nieces and nephews.

MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL: Friday, January 18th at 11am at St. John Vianney Catholic Church, 5801 Oak Hills Dr., with VISITATION beginning at 9:30am at the church.  Interment:  Calvary Cemetery.  Memorials are suggested to the Exchange Club of Omaha or St. John Vianney Catholic Church.

    My heart grieves for your loss. I knew Floyd from Exchange club. I loved his sense of humor. He was always positive with a cheery attitude. He will be missed. My heartfelt sympathy to you. Gods peace surround you and strengthen you

    I am so sorry to hear of Floyd’s passing! He will be greatly missed!! He was a faithful member of the Exchange Club of Omaha!!!! He was always working for the Club. We loved him and his family!!

    Floyd was such good guy. He did so much for the Exchange Club and it’s members!!! We will MISS HIM!!
    I always appreciated his humor!!

    I am so sorry for your loss!! Floyd was a faithful friend and member of the Exchange Club of Omaha. His presence and humor will be greatly missed!!! He always had something up his sleeve (so to speak)!!
