Floyd M. Paulsen
August 10, 1936 – April 8, 2022
Floyd passed away peacefully on April 8, 2022, at home with his wife. He was preceded in death by his parents, Martin and Edna Paulsen; sister and brother-in-law, Darlene and Ray Ried. He is survived by his wife, Mary (Brunner) Paulsen; son, David (Amber); daughters, Christina Kollasch and Jennifer Welch (Will); four grandchildren: Kasey Lechner, Kaitlyn and Mady Kollasch, and Liam Welch; many cousins, other family, and friends.
Floyd was born to Martin and Edna Paulsen in Omaha Nebraska, where he later attended Benson High School. He worked for the United States Postal Service as a mail handler for 36 years and thanked God for a great job. Floyd was a faithful and loving husband, father, grandfather, and provider. He read The Bible daily, starting at the beginning and reading to the end and then starting again. He read it numerous times throughout his life. He also cheered on the Nebraska Cornhuskers and greatly enjoyed his daily ice cream. He loved his family well. It wasn’t difficult to imagine our Heavenly Father God’s love for us because of his example.
