Frances Marie (Bentley) Klingemann was born to Harry M. and Jessie J. (Grint) Bentley on October 14, 1924 in rural Sargent, Nebraska. She was the youngest of four children. She attended country school and graduated from Sargent High School in 1942. She obtained a teaching certificate after graduation and began teaching in a one-room country school. After two years of teaching, she attended a business college in Grand Island, Nebraska. Upon finishing business school, she gained employment in a few rural Nebraska towns, including Red Cloud, Franklin, and Columbus. She eventually moved to Omaha and worked at Northern Natural Gas and Fairmont Foods.

In 1959 she met her husband, William “Bill” Klingemann, through his brother Reuben, who was working in Omaha as well. They married on June 4, 1960 and moved to Rising City, Nebraska, where Bill lived. They began farming and raised four children. After much deliberation, they decided to sell their farm and move to Omaha in 1986. Reuben helped them start K & K Mobile Power Washing as a business, and Frances did all of the bookwork and accounting for the business. She also worked part-time as a food demonstrator at local grocery stores. Bill passed away in 2000 after a battle with cancer, with Frances staying at his side, day and night. She continued to live in their Millard home where she continued her lifelong passions of gardening, baking, and spending time with her family until a fall in February, 2017. She then resided at Good Samaritan Society in Millard until her Journey to Heaven on Christmas Day.

Frances was preceded in death by her parents; her sister Ruth (Pedrick) of Arcadia; sister Verna of Sargent; and brother Chris of Sargent. She was also preceded by her son-in-law Bruce Harper of Lincoln and many other loving in-laws and nephews.

Frances is survived by her children and their spouses: Nancy and Wes Dodge of Omaha, Wanda Dowdy of Garland, Texas, Janice Harper of Lincoln, and Thomas and Carla of Omaha. She is also survived by nine grandchildren and their families: Zachary and Sandra Holsclaw of Dallas, Texas, Ashley and Jerry Stephens and great-granddaughter Helen of Dallas, Texas, Erik and Keristiena Dodge and great-granddaughter Alexia of Omaha, Chase Dodge of Lincoln, Jacob Harper of Lincoln, Andrew Klingemann of Omaha, Sydney Dodge of Omaha, Lauren Klingemann of Omaha, and Will Klingemann of Omaha. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, grand and great-grand nieces and nephews; in-laws; and cousins.

Frances was a true humble servant of the Lord and it exuded from her in all she accomplished. By God’s Grace, she has a resting place in Heaven.

May the wonderful life your loved one lived and shared with a multitude of people bring you great joy! Hers was a life of service and a gift of live to her family and friends. May you find comfort and peace knowing she loved our Lord and Savior and gave her life in ministry to others. She was the crown jewel of the family, and a great friend to many who knew her.

What a wonderful, kind and generous woman. Her home was always open to friends and family! We always loved stopping on our way back to Sargent. She always insisted we have something to eat before we continued our journey. My family has fond memories of your family, so we all send our thoughts and prayers for your family.
