Frances Niedermyer

Frances E. (Dunlop) Niedermyer age 97, of Missouri Valley, Iowa passed away Saturday, February 25, 2012 at Longview Court in Missouri Valley. Frances was born June 10, 1914 on the family farm north of Pisgah, Iowa. She was the eighth of nine children born to Alfred E. and Winnie A. (Wall) Dunlop. Frances spent her childhood in South Dakota and Iowa. She was united in marriage to Harold W. Niedermyer on December 23, 1937 in Magnolia, Iowa. To this union came two daughters, Ila and Arlene. After Harold’s death, she continued helping her family on the farm east of Pisgah. She later worked at Rose Vista in Woodbine and then as a cook at the Pisgah School. She enjoyed playing cards, bingo and spending time with her family who affectionately called her “GG”. Frances was preceded in death by husband, Harold; daughter, Ila Coziahr, and son-in-law Mike Murphy. She is survived by her brother: Kenneth LaVerne Dunlop of Woodbine, Iowa; daughter: Arlene Murphy of Missouri Valley, Iowa; grandchildren: Scott & Kathy Coziahr of Omaha, Nebraska; Craig & Paige Coziahr of Henderson, Nevada; Doug & Andi Coziahr of Council Bluffs, Iowa; Justin & Lorri Murphy of Modale, Iowa; Marnie & Travis Charter of Fremont, Nebraska; son-in-law Jason Coziahr of Sioux City, Iowa; great-grandchildren Kaitlin, Blair, Kelsey, Mitch, Kylie, Kari, Carter, Elliot and Emerson Coziahr and Anthony, Jessica, and Dylan Murphy and many other relatives and friends. Visitation will be held from 6-8 pm Wednesday at the Hennessey-Aman Funeral Home in Missouri Valley. In Loving Memory Of Frances E.
