Frank A. Hartwig, age 81, currently of Omaha, went to be with Jesus on Monday, June 5, 2017. He was born in Firth, NE on September 28, 1935 to Fred and Mary (Fuhrman) Hartwig. He was the Elevator Supervisor at Gooch Milling/ADM for 40 years before retiring to Sun Lakes, AZ in 1997.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brothers Fred, Oliver and Robert. He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Nelda (Hall); daughters, Debra Barmore (David) of Omaha, and Julia Kightlinger (Tim) of West Des Moines, IA; seven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren with another on the way; many nieces and nephews.
CELEBRATION OF LIFE will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to American Cancer Society or the Josie Harper Hospice House in Omaha.
