Frank John Berrent Jr.
February 21, 1931 – January 17, 2022
Frank John Berrent Jr. was born on February 21, 1931 in Baltimore, Maryland, the youngest of five to Frank and Katherine. He graduated from Patterson H.S. and received his B.S. from The University of Maryland. An army veteran, he served from 1950 to 1953. He started his career at Western Electric. He married Rita Bajkowski and had three daughters. Always very active with family and hobbies, he enjoyed having a large vegetable garden, ping pong, boating, crabbing, and Colts games. In 1983, he moved to Omaha with Rita and daughter, Ann to continue his career with A.T. & T. Still very active, enjoyed playing cards, golf, church events, and became a dedicated usher at his parish, Saint Wenceslaus. Upon retirement, he traveled, having winter getaways in South Padre Island, spending time with family and grandchildren in the Ozarks at the Crouse lakehouse, taking cruises with Rita, and playing golf with Rita and friends as a long time member of Ashland Golf Club. Frank was a friendly, easy-going manager to his staff and displaying a great work ethic. He was a loving, dedicated husband to Rita and a helpful, caring father.
Frank is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Rita; three daughters: Catherine Naused (Mike), Nancy League (Al) and Ann Crouse (Jerry); four grandchildren: Natalie Naused, Zachary Crouse, Alyssa Crouse-Bankes, and Kade Crouse; many nieces and nephews.
Visitation: Thursday 9:30 am with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 am at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, 15353 Pacific St. Interment: Omaha National Cemetery. Memorials are suggested to St. Wenceslaus Church or the Stephen Center.

I am so sorry to hear of Frank’s passing. I worked with him and Rita on a committee at church for years and always enjoyed their easy banter back and forth. He was always so kind and helpful. He will be missed.
