Frederick Andrew Coddington, of Palm Springs, California formerly of Missouri Valley, Iowa passed away on July 26, 2014. Fred was born April 25, 1949 to Irene and Gilford Coddington at their home in Missouri Valley, Iowa. He attended school here and graduated in 1967 from Missouri Valley High School. He then went to work in Omaha, Nebraska for a few years before moving to sunny California to live out the rest of his life. His love of people was obvious, from choosing bartending as his profession and his skill of stained glass making many beautiful things to give away to family and friends. Fred is preceded in death by his parents, his brother Larry Coddington, his young sister: Shirley Mae and older sister, Mary Beamen. He is survived by sisters: Betty Ruffcorn of Missouri Valley, Iowa and Arlene Clark of Port Orchard, Washington; brothers: Melvin Coddington of Port Orchard, Washington and Francis Coddington of Missouri Valley, Iowa and many, many nieces and nephews.
