He was preceded in death by his parents, Fredrick and Darlene Kambach; brother, James; sons-in-law, John Kelly and Jim Cullen.

He is survived by his loving wife of 63 years, Marie; children: Pam Cullen, Paul (Trudi) Kambach, Kathy Kelly; grandchildren: Matt (Brooke) Cullen, Patrick, Bridget and Brianna Cullen, Ben Kambach, Drew Kambach and Chloe (Kyle) Wozniak; great-grandchildren, Kennedy and Quinn Cullen; sister, Connie Randolph; brother, David (Becky) Kambach.

Fredrick D. Kambach passed away on Friday, September 2, 2022, with his wife, Marie, by his side. Fred was born on January 15, 1937, in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Fred and family moved to Algoma,WI and graduated from Algoma High School. Fred was drafted into the army in 1955 in Kewaunee, WI. Fred was stationed in Korea as a Specialist 4 where he served for 2 years. He then moved to Green Bay, where he met his wife Marie, and they were married on September 27, 1958. They had three children, Pam, Paul, and Kathy.

Fred and Marie have lived in Omaha, NE since 1984. They were members of St. Gerald Catholic Church for 36 years, where Fred participated in the Knights of Columbus, and many other church activities. One of the things Fred enjoyed most was golfing with his buddies. Fred was also an avid Green Bay Packer fan and volunteered at Bergen Mercy Hospital, working various duties within the mail room. Fred and Marie enjoyed traveling, theatre, and spending time with their family and friends.

Family will receive friends Thursday, September 8th from 5-7PM at St. Gerald Catholic Church (9602 Q Street) with Vigil Service at 7PM. Mass of Christian Burial: Friday, September 9th, 10AM at St. Gerald Catholic Church Private Interment: Evergreen. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to the Fr. Foster Endowment Fund.

    So very sorry to hear about the passing of Fred, such a wonderful man who did so much for so many and always with that contagious smile!!
    He will be missed!
